Project Type: Addition and Remodel, built in 2014

Originally designed by renowned architect Stuart Silk, the traditional design and dated character didn’t appeal to the clients who favored a contemporary rustic, natural aesthetic. The style upgrade encompassed the entire house and introduced outdoor features such as a covered living area with fireplace, covered outdoor BBQ center and swimming pool & deck. Every single detail was reimagined, totally transforming the house’s personality.

Architect of record: Brad Sturman of Sturman Architects in Bellevue where Aaron Heckman served as senior designer for this project prior to forming HECKMAN Architects in February 2016.
