Located on The Lakes in the heart of Mercer Island, this Kitchen and Nook project expanded and opened these frequently used spaces. By vaulting the ceiling over the Nook and adding skylights throughout, the space becomes inviting and uplifting. Large windows and doors connect it to the large outdoor deck and water beyond. Clean and pristine, light floods into the interior.
Built in 2010.
Architect of record: Brad Sturman of Sturman Architects in Bellevue where Aaron Heckman served as senior designer for this project prior to forming HECKMAN Architects in February 2016.
